At Jill & Joey we know that you can use all the support you can get while you're pregnant. By gently supporting belly weight, our maternity belt reduces pressure on your spine and can make your day and night so much more comfortable!
REDUCES PREGNANCY PAIN
Being pregnant is a magical experience, but let's be honest, it can also be very uncomfortable. If you are experiencing round ligament pain, pelvic discomfort (PGP/SPD), back pain, or swelling of hands and feet (edema), the Jill & Joey maternity belt might be for you. The belt can help support your uterus if worn lower on the abdomen, which can help lift the baby off your pelvis. For more details on how the Jill & Joey belly band can help alleviate pregnancy pain, please go here.
LIGHTWEIGHT & BREATHABLE
We used the lightest and softest material we could find for optimal comfort without overheating. You can wear your Jill & Joey maternity belt all day without losing any comfort, as it is designed to breathe to help keep you cool.
Putting it on and taking it off is easy (instructions here). Simply wrap the belt around your belly while making sure the pad is centered and placed under your abdomen. Place the side without velcro on your back first. Next, tighten the belt to your liking by pulling the side with velcro, and sticking it on top of the other layer behind your back. Adjust as needed. To remove the belt, simply pull the side with velcro until it comes off.
We know you like to stay active throughout your pregnancy, so our belly band is designed with active mothers in mind. The Jill & Joey maternity belt can be worn over or under your clothes, while being active, sitting or lying down. Many mothers report they loved wearing it while they continued running throughout their pregnancy.
SUPPORT THROUGHOUT YOUR PREGNANCY
The belt comes in two variations based on your waist. One of the product pictures includes a table with what waist measurements go with each belt. To make sure it will fit and you choose the right variation, we recommend measuring starting at your navel, wrapping the measurement tape all the way around your back and ending at your navel again. This is usually the widest spot to measure and it should give you a good indication of what variation is best for you.
FSA / HSA ELIGIBLE
Your maternity belt may be eligible for purchase through your FSA (Flexible Spending Account) or HSA (Health Savings Account). If you have a card, you can add it in checkout. You can also purchase these items using a different payment method and may be able to get it reimbursed from your benefit administrator later.
If you live in the US, shipping is free!
We tried our best to find the lightest material possible so that the belt does not feel bulky when you wear it, and so that it breathes well to prevent you from overheating. Our belt is made out of 40% polyester, 30% cotton and 30% rubber.

The belt comes in two variations based on your waist. One stretches up to 45 inches and the other up to 55 inches, and the velcro allows you to adjust it as your baby bump grows. To make sure it will fit and you choose the right variation, we recommend measuring starting at your navel, wrapping the measurement tape all the way around your back and ending at your navel again. This is usually the widest spot to measure and it should give you a good indication of what variation is best for you.
We recommend you use a gentle program when washing our belly band, and not too hot. Don't forget to close up the velcro so that the belt won't stick to any other clothes in your machine. We recommend hang drying it instead of using a dryer to avoid heat damage.
